As we wind down our practice and game schedules leading into the Christmas break, the SSMHA Executive would like to remind its members of the expectations we have with respect to team events during that time.

This is typically a time in the hockey season that teams take advantage of the free time in the schedule, and spend it together participating in other events.  Things like – Christmas parties, team fundraising (like bottle or food drives), volunteering in the community, etc.

When teams are organizing, hosting, or participating in anything as a team you are representing SSMHA as a whole.  The expectation of the SSMHA Executive is that all members (team officials, players, parents/guardians, and siblings) adhere to all public health guidelines, advisories, and recommendations during those events.  

We thank everyone for the patience and understanding during the beginning of our season and through the last few months.  We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season, and we will see you in the New Year.
