On Saturday November 25 th the Peewee C2 Selects won the Annual Smith Falls Tournament. The one-day tournament started out with a 5-0 victory over the Ottawa Centre Ice Hawks. Next up in the “A” semifinals they faced the Gananoque Reds. In a tight match up the Selects pulled out a late 3 rd period comeback to defeat the Reds 3-1. The final saw the Selects face the other squad from Gananoque. The road to the gold medal saw the Selects comeback from an earlier 2-0 deficit with another huge 3rd period comeback to defeat the Gananoque Whites 4-2.
