For those who are new to coaching this year, and those who have coached in the past, ODHA has changed the certification requirements to be a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Trainer at all levels this year.

Now, all coaches, whether head or assistant, require the same certification.  The level of certification varies depending on the level you are coaching.

To make things easier on our coaches in SSMHA, we are holding certification courses in Long Sault during the month of October.

All B House, C House, and Atom Rep coaches require the following:

1. Speak-Out – You can register here.
2. Part 1 On-Line HU-Comm Coach Stream  – You can register here.  ** This must be completed before registering for Coach Level.  **
3. Coach Level – You can register here.

All Rep coaches (except Atom) require the following:

1. Speak-Out – You can register here.
2. Development 1 – You can register here.

Trainers for B House and C House teams require Trainer Level 1 – You can search for courses here if you need this certification.

Trainers for Rep teams (all, including Atom) require Trainer Level 2 – You can search for courses here if you need this certification.

Reminder: To be reimbursed for any course, please fill out this form.  The completed form can be dropped of in the Red Box at the Long Sault Arena, or sent to Brad Maloney.
