South Stormont Selects Capture Gold at Home Tourney…

The Latour Financial Group South Stormont Selects Atom B Rep captured Gold at their Home Tournament this past weekend. The fun filled day had the Selects host the South Dundas Lions at the opening game, winning 6 -2 with Jacob Willison & Adam Winter each scoring a pair of goals and singles coming from Jacob Villeneuve and Tristan Robertson.

In the second game of the Round Robin format, The Selects beat the Alexandria Glens 4-2 is a very well fought battled game with a final score of 4-2. Jacob Willison netted a pair with singles coming from Jacob Villeneuve and Tristan Robertson.

In the “A” Final match, The Selects were able to topple the Char-Lan Rebels 6-3. The game was much closer than the final score said Coach Gilles Latour. Getting the puck past the past the Goalie was Patrick Bourdeau with a pair and Elexis Bourget, Alex Dionne, Tristan Robertson and Jacob Willison all adding singles.

The Selects Invitational Hockey Tournament received much praise from participant and parents for an amazing day with the focus on the kids. The Benson Group supported the event with customized hard hats for the” Hustler of the game” while The Ottawa Senators supported the MVP’s with Reebok apparel.
